Leveling vs. Lifting: What's Right for Your Truck
Share
A lot of Ram owners ask whether they should level or lift their truck, and the answer depends on what you're using it for. A leveling kit (typically 2") evens out the factory rake, giving your truck a more aggressive stance while keeping ride quality close to stock.
A full lift kit (3" to 5"+) is built for serious ground clearance and bigger tires, ideal for off-roading or hauling oversized loads. Keep in mind that more lift means more stress on your suspension components, particularly your control arms and steering.
Whichever route you choose, make sure your suspension parts are rated for the geometry change to avoid premature wear.
